The cups and balls has long been a test of a magician’s ability. Performing it with ordinary coffee cups brings new challenges and a convincing, impromptu appearance.
Drawing on ideas from Dai Vernon, Charlie Miller, and Mike Skinner, John has developed a clear, streamlined routine with several new techniques. None of the traditional vanishes are used.
The lesson goes beyond the moves, exploring misdirection, body language, timing, and naturalness. Beginners and experienced magicians will find subtleties and practical thinking to apply to this routine and throughout their magic.
